What we collect
When you sign up we store your email address and a hashed password. When you run a clone we store the URL you submitted, the generated spec, and a timestamp. If you pay, Stripe stores your billing details — we never see your card number.
How we use it
Your data is used to operate the service: authenticating you, delivering specs, and processing billing. We do not sell your data. We do not share your submitted URLs with third parties. We do not email you anything other than transactional messages about your clones and billing.
Third-party services
We use a small set of processors to run the service: Stripe for payments, Google's Gemini API for AI analysis, and Convex for our database. Each operates under its own privacy policy and data processing terms.
Screenshots & uploads
Images and videos you upload are sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis and discarded from our servers as soon as the spec is generated. Screenshots taken during URL analysis are discarded after the same step. We do not store your raw uploads.
Cookies
We use cookies strictly for authentication. No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking.
Data retention
We retain your account data and generated specs for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is removed within 7 days.
Security
Passwords are hashed before storage. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS. We do not log or store raw payment details.
Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
If you are in the EU or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@copydesignai.com. We honor deletion requests within 7 days.
Children
CopyDesign.ai is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
